  • The first of the two main aspects of our food are the panini (that’s plural for panino) and the concept of the Paninoteca, which is the eating revolution that started in the late seventies and spread throughout Italy. Literally translated it’s a collection of sandwiches sold in locales specializing in offering a wide variety of gourmet sandwiches. We aim to bring this concept to your doorstep. We will be offering a mainstay selection of Panini that will be available every day and will supplement these with other creations that change with what is in season and our creative whims. This portion of the menu is by default the more creative and is an expression of a more contemporary use of ingredients.

    The other aspect of our food is to offer a gastronomic tour of regional Italian cuisine with a primo (a first course usually pasta), a secondo (a main course in Italy) and a dolce (dessert), these dishes will change on a weekly basis and as we will be in a different location for lunch each day our patrons should not want for variety. We would like to think of this part of our menu as the one appealing to the gastronomically greedier and more adventurous patrons. The ethos of this part of the menu is adherence to tradition both in the use of ingredients and in the execution of the recipes.

    Our ingredients are as fas as is humanly possible locally sourced, organic, free range and ethically produced. If a local ingredient doesn’t meet the taste test then an imported ingredient will be used, which luckily doesn’t happen too often as there are many top notch local artisan producers.

    You can book us for weddings, corporate events, market and catering for film shoots.
